Zackery Liberty:

Founder, Hybrid Athlete & Coach

From an early age, Zackery discovered a deep connection to movement. What began with competitive running in school and a passion for weight training in college has evolved into a lifelong commitment to exploring human potential through fitness, discipline, and community.

Zackery is a hybrid athlete who has completed five marathons, with a current personal best of 3:19 (chip time), and continues to push his endurance limits alongside strength training. In the physique world, he has competed in four bodybuilding shows, earning three gold medals and the Men’s Physique Overall title at the 2024 Ottawa Natural Classic, followed by two national-level appearances, including a bronze medal at the 2024 Toronto Pro Qualifier.

Beyond competition, Zackery is deeply invested in building community. He is the founder of Hull Sunday Run Day, a grassroots run club that brings together 40 to 60 runners every Sunday in Canada’s National Capital Region. Under his leadership, HSRD has partnered with organizations and brands such as lululemon, Bushtukah, Ottawa City Run Club, the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Ottawa Race Weekend, and more, using running as a tool to create meaningful human connection.

Zackery also founded the What Would Marcus Do? Book Club, a Stoic-inspired community of over 50 active members who meet monthly to explore philosophy, self improvement, and the pursuit of a well lived life.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, Zackery holds certifications in Personal Training, Nutrition, and Run Coaching through the International Sports Sciences Association. Today, he coaches athletes and everyday people alike, helping them build strength, endurance, and self trust through intentional training and sustainable habits.
